Below are step by step instructions (with video) to show you how to handle your uniforms.
-
Every uniform rack is labeled with an instrument and the names of the students playing that instrument.
-
Each student has 2 hangers labeled with a number and an alphabet (A or B).
-
Every hanger has a student's name and size of their uniform on it.
-
Before taking your uniform off the rack, make sure you have already eaten, washed your hands, put on deodorant and have your compression gear on.
Video 2 - Putting On Your Uniform
Please follow these steps when Putting on your Uniform
-
Take both hangers with your name off the rack
-
Bibber (pants) goes on top of your compression gear. Zipper in front.
-
Be careful when putting on your bibber. DO NOT step into the hem on your pants. This will undo the snaps on your pants.
-
Undershirt is next. Zipper is on your back.
-
Next comes your jacket. Please make sure that you have a friend helping you zip up your jacket. Do not zip it up on your own as you will break the zippers.
-
Remember to pull out your collar.
-
Put BOTH hangers back on the correct rack before you leave for inspection.
** These are brand new uniforms so the jacket zipper may be a little stiff. Please make sure that both sides are aligned otherwise it will jam. Do not force the zipper.
Video 3 - Hanging Up Your Uniform
Please follow these steps when Hanging up your Uniform
-
Take both hangers with your name off the rack.
-
Hang your inner shirt and Jacket on the hanger labeled A. Zippers need to face your name that is labeled on the hanger.
-
Be sure to pull out the collar and arms of your inner shirt from the jacket.
-
Make sure when you remove your bibbers - once again make sure you are not pulling the hems out of the pants.
-
Refer to the video attached on how to hang up your bibber (pants). It should be hung onto Hanger labeled B.
-
Return both hangers to the correct rack and make sure you hang it in the correct space. Uniforms are placed alphabetically on your rack.
-
Make sure all the hangers are facing the SAME WAY.
If you notice anything wrong with your uniform (stains, missing buttons, etc), please inform Ms Roopa or a Director immediately.
Please study the videos above!
