Hey Avery, Wyatt, Wes, And Nicole!!
I am so proud of all the work you guys have done this season despite everything that’s been happening right now. It takes a lot of work to produce a show like this and you guys are able to lead it during a pandemic?? That‘s CRAZYYYY. I know it must have been difficult at times, but I know you guys were always working hard to make things work. I love the show and the product y‘all have helped create and I hope you guys do too.
To Avery and Wyatt, I can’t believe this is your last marching performance with the band! You guys are THAT old now and it’s so weird to believe. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to watch you guys grow since middle school (for Avery) and high school (for Wyatt). It must be kinda hard to imagine that it’s already been four years and it’s crazy that time goes by soooooo fast. There really is NOTHING like being apart of this program and every once in a while, I miss the feeling of being a part of it. I hope you guys really enjoy the last few moments of getting to stand in front of the band. I also just hope you feel proud of what y‘all have helped create during these strange circumstances. It cannot be easy to lead during this, but you guys did that!! I am really sad I won’t be able to watch you guys live in the Alamodome but I will definitely be thinking of y‘all right at the performance time. It’s okay to be nervous, but I hope you feel ready and excited to perform this show one more time. I think knowing that this is guaranteed the last performance can give you a boost to really max out your performance with the rest of the band. Have fun!!
To Wes, I am SO proud of you!! I hope you really got to enjoy the experience of conducting the band!! It is such a special feeling and I can still remember all the memories I made my first year. I hope you have have a great time getting to conduct this show one last time and feel proud of the progress you made!! You have grown so much since freshman year and cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will do next year!! Just know that if you ever need advice, any of the past drum majors for the band would be willing to.
To Nicole, I am SO glad that you are able to help lead the band!! You have done an amazing job with the JV band this year, and now conducting for the varsity show!! Having to learn a whole new show in little time is not easy at all, yet you are doing it so well! I am so so so proud of you and hope you enjoy your very last performance at the Alamodome. It is a crazy feeling getting to lead the band and I hope you enjoy getting to do it one last time.
Love you all endlessly and I just want you guys to know I am incredibly proud of you all. You guys are going to be amazing and I hope you really cherish the moments you get to have with the band because it will never be exactly the same with people graduating and new people joining every year. Never hesitate to reach out!
LOVE, CAT!!!
