Following highly successful mitigation strategies employed through the fall semester which resulted in no staff/student positive COVID-19 cases from August through December, the Coppell HS Band, in consultation our sustaining Student Health and Safety Committee, continues to refine adjusted rehearsal processes and procedures for use during these challenging times. The committee is comprised of 9 Coppell HS Band parents who work in healthcare as well as those who are familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Band program. A link to our Return-to-Rehearsal plan can be found by clicking HERE.
On arrival at the Coppell HS, each student will complete the Pre-Rehearsal Health Screening Form before entering the building.

Students should arrive with their own water (if desired for concert rehearsal).
Students should be dressed for adverse rehearsal conditions which may include gym spaces as well as the indoor athletic complex.
As students approach the rehearsal zone, they will be asked to show the results page from the aforementioned Pre-Rehearsal Health Screening Form to a staff member.
Staff members will be conducting secondary temperature checks on entry.

Once cleared, students will report directly to their pre-assigned chair for rehearsal.

Masks are required for the entirety of rehearsal. No exceptions will be made.
The Coppell Band has received a donation of 500 KN-95 masks from Lowe's.
These will be made available to any students arriving without a mask or those utilizing a sub-standard mask (gaiters, ill-fitting cloth masks, etc.).

At the end of rehearsal, students should proceed directly to their vehicle, or that of their parents.
If a student needs to wait for their ride, they must do so outdoors in a socially-distanced manner.
